HYDERABAD, FEB. 3. The Government has identified 1,600 services -- from booking of cinema tickets to issue of visas -- as services deliverable by eSeva centres. While 120 services are now available through eSeva centres, it proposes to add 13 more services in February to be followed by several others in subsequent months, according to Praveen Prakash, Director of eSeva. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said the target was to have 238 eSeva centres operational by June to enable about one crore families use the services. Presently, there are 162 eSeva centres in the State, and 13 lakh families used the services in the month of January, he said. In addition, Government was in the process of setting up 6,000 kiosks, he said. Of the 13 services to be added, five fall in the category of "Government to Consumer (G2C) services", while eight under the "Business to Consumer (B2C)" category. In the former category are the services relating to Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, National Small Savings (NSS), Railway Time Tables, Tirmulala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) and Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). In the B2C category are the Apollo Health Group, Idea Cellular, First Flight Couriers, Pioneer online, Hutch, National Insurance, IT Returns-Haribhakti Group (Mumbai) and Air Deccan. Giving details, he said other proposals included train reservations. Soon, Life Insurance Corporation will also be connected and eSeva hopes to offer LIC's services by April or May. In a fortnight or so they hope to sign an agreement with Deccan Airways for issuing their tickets. They expect to sign agreement with National Insurance company soon to offer services like health insurance, personal accident and motor insurance. Agreement with Apollo is expected to cover the issue of health cards, among others.
