HYDERABAD, FEB. 3. The Government on Tuesday promoted five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to the post of Additional Superintendent and gave new postings to seven other ASPs. Following are the details of promoted officers with their new postings: Vasudeva Reddy (Additional Deputy Commissioner, City Security Wing, Hyderabad), S.B.P. Shivaji (Crime Investigation Department), Md. Ismail (Additional DCP, Hyderabad Detective Department), K. Narsimha (Prohibition and Excise department) and A.V. Subba Rao (Additional DCP, Visakhapatnam). An ASP, G. Srinivas, was temporarily promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police (non-cadre) and posted to Intelligence wing, Hyderabad. Newly posted ASPs are: J. Brahma Reddy (Andhra Pradesh Police Academy), J.S.R. Vidyasagar Rao (CID), S. Chandrasekhar Reddy (Officer-on-Special Duty, Adilabad), L.K.V. Ranga Rao (to report in DGP office), P. Ashok Kumar (Tirupati), M. Laxmi Reddy, (Squadron Commander, Greyhounds, Hyderabad) and N.B.G. Tilak (Administration, Guntur). Five DSPs given new postings: B.V. Satyanarayana and B. Venkat Reddy (Hyderabad Detective Department), C.S. Naidu (Vigilance and Enforcement), R. Krishna Murthy (Intelligence) and N. Balaji Rao (CID).
