Gayathri Award

NEW DELHI, FEB.3. In a competition in singing Saint Tyagaraja's kritis under the auspices of Gayathri Fine Arts at Rohini here this past Sunday, young V. Kartik of Mayur Vihar and N. Vaijayanthi of Paschim Vihar were declared winners of the Gayathri Fine Arts-Kamala Kannan Memorial Taanpura-2004. The two share the award.
