Tex Spares 2004 from February 5

COIMBATORE: The Southern India Mills' Association (SIMA) will organise here "Tex Spares 2004" from February 5 to 9. According to its Chairman, Vijay Venkataswamy, the main objective of the exhibition is to promote awareness about the availability of different kinds of textile spares, accessories, lubricants and electrical/electronic items, offering opportunities for import substitution and to provide new vendors adequate exposure to the Indian textiles, clothing machinery and spares market.

He said that it would have around 165 exhibitors and also exclusive cotton, wind energy and textile park pavilions.

A series of seminars were planned during the five days on import substitution, stores management and quality of textile machinery components. A business meet on wind energy would be held on February 5.
