Stampede: one more Keralite among those killed

PALAKKAD, FEB. 3 . One more Keralite was among those killed in the stampede in Mina, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday last. The victim has been identified as Mohammed Ali Sakhafi (28) of Nalakath House, Kumaramputhur, near Mannarkkad. With this, the number of Keralites killed in the stampede had gone up to three.

Mohammed, who was in Saudi Arabia for the last six months, was accompanying his father-in-law who was on Haj pilgrimage. Mohammed's relatives were informed of his death only on Monday. He is survived by wife Fathima Sherifa, son Mohabeer (2 years) and daughter Bushra (4 months).
