CHANDIGARH, FEB. 3. No incidence of `Bird Flu' has been reported from any poultry farm in Haryana, according to the State Director of Animal Husbandry, Dangi. He asserted that the poultry farms of Karnal and Hisar had not been hit by any disease as reported in a section of the media. Dr.Dangi said that the poultry farmers were being updated regularly to ensure that there was no panic regarding the incidence of the disease in the State. He further disclosed that according to the World Health Organisation there could be no transmission of this disease through chicken consumption and hence there was nothing to worry about either for the farming community or for those who ate chicken.
