By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 3. The Musli Growers' Association of Kerala has announced that the association would extend all necessary assistance for musli growers in the State and take steps to promote the manufacture of medicines using musli.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, the secretary of the association, Josekutty, said that the scope for the export of white musli (`saphed' musli), which is considered to be a medicine in the Ayurveda and Unani systems of medicines, was not being fully utilised by the growers in the country, especially in Kerala where not much is known about the cultivation of musli.
