DSS alleges graft in Ashraya scheme

BIDAR, FEB. 4. The Dalit Sangharsha Samiti has alleged that there have been large-scale irregularities in the allotment of low-cost houses to beneficiaries under the Ashraya scheme in all six Assembly constituencies of the district.

The samiti has alleged that the Ashraya committees, headed by MLAs in each constituency, have violated the norms and awarded houses to ineligible people.
