TIRUCHI, FEB.4 . Five Southern Railway employees, alleged to have been involved in the assault on a retiring official of the Golden Rock Workshops here recently, have been dismissed. The railway police apprehended four of the accused in the assault today. A group of five Rajendran, Arputharaj, Manoharan, Lakshmanan and Chandran all railway employees, allegedly assaulted the superannuating Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, S. M. Krishnan, of the Golden Rock Workshops at the Tiruchi junction as he was about to leave for Chennai. While Babu Rajendran was secured subsequently, the other four against whom charges were made were at large. The others were apprehended today. Except Arputharaj, who was an employee of the Diesel Shed, Ponamalai, the others were employees of the Golden Rock Workshops.
