Woman, 3 children die in roof collapse

MAHBUBNAGAR, FEB. 4. A woman and her three children were killed instantaneously when the roof of their house collapsed this morning at Ujjail village in Maganur mandal of Mahabubnagar district. According to information reaching here, Venkatesh, an agriculturist, in a bid to repair the roof of the house had put up temporary pillars. When the pillars got dislocated, the roof came down, killing Chennamma (25) and her children — Ramesh (8), Janardhan (5) and one-year-old Renuka. Venkatesh was away in the fields at that time.
