TEL launches Emulsion explosives
SALEM: The Tamil Nadu Industrial Explosives Limited (TEL), Vellore, has joined the select band of a few explosive firms by manufacturing the eco-friendly and safer `Emulsion' explosives. The General Manager (Works), TEL, R. P. Sinha, unveiled the product, PowerTel-Emulsion Explosives, in the presence of the Joint General Manager (Finance) S. S. Murugavel and Joint General Manager (Marketing), R. Sampath, here on Wednesday. TEL has started manufacturing the Emulsion explosives at its Rs. 5.17 crore plant in Katpadi near Vellore. TEL is also on the threshold of launching a new set of non-electric initiating system (NONEL) along with its other products in detonators and detonating fuse ranges. — Our Staff Reporter
