CHENNAI, FEB. 4. Burglars broke into an electronic goods warehouse at Thiruverkadu on Monday night and decamped with goods worth Rs. six lakhs. This is the second time the warehouse has become a target for burglars. According to representatives of the warehouse at Velappanchavadi, burglars had broken into the facility in September and stole goods worth Rs 1.97 lakhs. On both occasions, burglars gained entry into the warehouse by cutting the window grills on the rear end of the building that faced a narrow water stream. The warehouse is situated in the basement of the building. The burglars had also scaled a 15-ft wall to gain entry. The company's representatives filed a complaint that television sets, video compact disc players and telephone sets were missing.
