Court frames charges against Bhattal

CHANDIGARH, FEB. 5. A local court today framed charges against Punjab's Deputy Chief Minister, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal in a case of misappropriation of funds from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund in 1996.

The Additional District and Sessions Judge, R.S. Baswana, handed down the orders to Ms. Bhattal.

During the previous hearing, the judge has found prima facie evidence against Ms. Bhattal and ruled in favour of framing of charges.
