Rs. 10,000 cash prizes for 11 artists

BANGALORE, FEB. 5. The following artists have won cash prizes of Rs. 10,000 each for their work, at the 33rd annual art exhibition of the Lalitakala Academy: Prema Handigola and Basavaraj C. Kuthni from Gadag, Prakash G. Nayak from Shirasi, Shridhara S. Chawan from Bijapur, Manuchakravarti K.N. and Narashimha Murthy M.S. from Tumkur, Rajesh N. from Mysore, Harish M. Acharya and Suryakanta from Dakshina Kannada, and Kumara R.Y. and Veena N. Shetty from Bangalore.
