Let them do whatever they want: Sonia

NEW DELHI, FEB. 5. The Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, today remained unfazed by indications from the Central Government that it might move the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court verdict quashing the bribery charges in the Bofors payoff case.

"Let them do whatever they want," Ms. Gandhi told reporters when asked to comment on Central Bureau of Investigation Director's statement earlier in the day that options were still open for the agency to move the apex court against the High Court judgment.

Later in the day, the Union Law Minister, Arun Jaitley, too said the agency could consider moving the apex court on the matter.

Asked for her response, Ms. Gandhi said, "You don't expect any grace from these people. At least I don't." — PTI
