The eSeva service has fixed a limit for all cash transactions through its centres. The changes will come into effect on February 10. Cash transactions up to Rs. 5,000 alone will be accepted while transactions whose value is above Rs. 5,000 will have to be made by way of cheques, demand drafts and credit cards, according to the eSeva Director, Praveen Prakash. "The changes have been made to avoid delays owing to counting of cash and to facilitate quicker service for users," he said on Thursday. He appealed to people to take note of the changes to enable the eSeva render faster and risk-free service.
No power supply in many areas
There will be no power supply in the areas of Yellareddyguda, SKD Nagar, Shalivahannagar, LIC Colony, SBH Colony, Pragatinagar, KP Colony, Akbar Farm, Kavery Hills Phase-II, Doctors Colony, Durgam Chervu, Kalyannagar, Pathrika Nagar, Vittalrao Nagar, Vinayak Nagar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Power supply will be affected from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Banjara Hills Road No.1, Rana Bakery, ABN Amro Bank, Sharada Apartments, Bank of Baroda, Sri Sai Enclave, Anu Gruha Apartments and part of Naveen Nagar.
Post box number for HUDA
The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority has acquired a post box number which can be used by people for communicating with the authority. The address is: HUDA, Post Box No. 1714, C/o Secunderabad Head Post Office.
