VIJAYAWADA, FEB. 6. Leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham have urged the Government to waive lease amounts of farmers cultivating crops in endowment lands. In a statement issued here on Friday, they pointed out that many farmers were forced to forego cultivation of crops this year due to delayed monsoon, while others had incurred heavy losses in the December 15 cyclone.
