IMPHAL, FEB. 7. Police today recovered and defused four powerful bombs, believed to have been planted by militants, in two places in Manipur, official sources said. They said a bomb disposal squad rushed to Aihang area, about 50 km south-east of here in Thoubal district, after local residents reported some suspicious-looking objects lying in a spot. The squad found three powerful bombs, together weighing 21 kg on the roadside to ambush security personnel passing through the area. Another bomb was detected at Naran Sena area in Bishnupur district by a CRPF patrol.
