CHANDIGARH, FEB. 7. The former Haryana Chief Minister and president of the Haryana unit of the Congress, Bhajan Lal, today asserted that the Congress, if voted to power in the State, would constitute a State Minority Commission to safeguard the interests of the minorities. Addressing a State-level convention of the Department of Minority Affairs of the Haryana unit of the Congress here today, Mr. Bhajan Lal assured that the other demands of the minorities would also be sympathetically considered. Launching a scathing attack on the BJP and its allies, he cautioned the people against the false propaganda of the communal forces and exhorted them to strengthen the Congress by bringing it back to power at the Centre and in Haryana.
