MYSORE, FEB. 7. The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) here has criticised the Centre's decision to hold early elections, and said this goes against the people's verdict. In a press release issued here, the league pointed out that the decision for early polls was motivated by selfish interest. Such a decision would neither help the common man nor the poor people, it added. It also appealed to the Election Commission not to hold early elections as suggested and threatened to hold an agitation on the issue if its demand was not met.
