Two banks to share ATMs
MANGALORE: Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank have signed an agreement facilitating mutual sharing of their automated teller machine (ATM) networks. This arrangement, which will be operationalised soon, is aimed at offering customers of both banks, the facility of using the combined network of ATMs, both existing and proposed, across India. A release from B. R. Bhat, Deputy General Manager, Corporation Bank, said the bank had the second largest network of ATMs among the public sector banks with more than 600 on-line inter-connected ATMs. Andhra Bank has already entered into ATM network sharing agreements with IDBI Bank, UTI Bank, and ICICI Bank
