MUMBAI, FEB. 7. FCL Technologies & Products is to sell its call centre facility to Planet Contact Centre Pvt Ltd, a proposed joint venture company, for Rs. 34 crores and pick up stake in the JV for the same amount, subject to shareholders' approval. The board has approved a proposal to transfer its call centre facility, including all its machinery and equipment of informed the Bombay Stock Exchange today. The company's board has approved a proposal to pick-up 3.4 crore equity shares of Rs. 10 each in the proposed joint venture firm. The company has convened an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on March 29 to seek approval for the transaction, it said. The approval for transfer of the call centre facility would be sought through a postal ballot, it added.
