India enters final

MARGAO, FEB. 7. The Indian under-18 football team scored an emphatic 3-0 win over host Thailand to enter the final of the Bimst-EC Cup football tournament played at Phuket in Thailand.

India will lock horns with Myanmar in the final to be played tomorrow.

India, which finished second in its group, led 2-0 at half-time with both goals being scored by Malsawama. Jerry Zirsanga rounded off the tally in the second half. — PTI
