SFI wants action in girl molestation case

By Our Staff Reporter

ANANTAPUR, FEB. 7. School and college girls led by the Students Federation of India took out a rally and staged dharna in front of the Superintendent of Police's camp office here today demanding justice to the schoolgirl allegedly molested by an autorickshaw driver.

Students led by the SFI leaders -- Jayachandra, Manohar, Radha and Venkatesh -- and others took out a rally. Traffic was disrupted for more than half an hour due to the rally and dharna.

The leaders demanded rehabilitation of the victim. They later submitted a memorandum to the Additional SP. Girl students went to the hospital to console the victim.
