Mysoora a good friend: YSR

By Our Staff Reporter

KHAMMAM, FEB. 7. The Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, said on Saturday that M. V. Mysoora Reddy would have better future in the Congress party than anywhere else. Describing him as a `good friend' from his Cuddapah district, he told reporters here that he was prepared for any sacrifice if he continued in the party.

"We were all like members of a family in the Congress." Had he taken up his problems with leaders, they could be resolved and elders of the family were keen on sorting them out.

But the decision to leave the family for the sake of minor irritants was painful.

He said he had met Mr. Mysoora Reddy in a marriage in Cuddapah district. Both of them decided there to abide by the decision of the high command on the issues taken up by him with the party leadership. "But I read Mr. Mysoora Reddy saying that he had decided to quit the party for not being able to say yes to the big boss." If he had said it in reference to me, I would only regret this.

I am not the big boss in the party. He denied having said that the exit of Mr. Mysoora Reedy would have no impact on the party. "I did not say so in any context to any media person."
