Inter practical exam from February 16

HYDERABAD, FEB. 11. The practical examinations of the Intermediate Public Examination 2004 will be held from February 16 to March 9 in four spells for the second year Science students.

Similarly, the vocational practical examinations for first and second year vocational students will be conducted from February 16 to 28, according to the Regional Inspection Officer, Ranga Reddy district, P. Ramakarishna Reddy.

In a statement here on Tuesday, he said 96 examination centres were set up for general students and another 27 for vocational students. As many as 22,580 are appearing for the general practical examinations while 2,123 students were taking the vocational practical exams in the district. Separate hall-tickets were already issued to the students.

He said video cameras would be installed at all the centres to ensure the process was transparent and no cell phones or pagers would be allowed.

Hindi course exam: The Hindi Pandit training course examinations for third spell candidates and failed candidates of earlier examinations are scheduled to be held from February 16 to 21, according to a release from the Director, Government Examinations.

The candidates should contact the Principals of respective training institutions to collect the hall-tickets and time-table three days before the commencement of the examinations, he said.
