iSoft to expand India operations

CHENNAI: The U.K-based application provider for hospitals and healthcare company, iSoft Group plc., will be investing $100 million in its India operations over the next three years. The funds will be used to increase the staff strength, expand the infrastructure and deploy new technology in the Chennai development centre, according to Tim Whiston, Chief Executive Officer of iSoft.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Whiston said the Chennai development centre would design and develop various healthcare technologies.
