BMP budget on February 19

BANGALORE, FEB. 11 . The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) budget for 2004-05 will be presented on February 19.

Members of the Standing Committee on Taxation and Finance and BMP officers are busy finalising the budget estimates, and the process is likely to be completed in the next three days, the Mayor, P.R. Ramesh, told The Hindu on Wednesday.

"If the election code of conduct comes into force before the presentation, we will just present the budget and allow discussions on it after the elections".
