Scooterist run over by bus

BANGALORE, FEB. 11. A scooterist was run over by a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus in front of the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike head office here on Wednesday in Ulsoor Gate Police Station limits. The name of the victim was given as T. Bharatesh (32), a resident of Gandhinagar. Police said the bus (route number 162) hit Bharathesh from behind and left him with serious injuries. He was immediately taken to Sindhi hospital where he was declared dead. Ulsoor Gate Police are investigating the case.
