Management students slug it out

LET THE Sparks Fly", screamed aloud students of Institute of Finance and International Management (IFIM) in the heady heights of their annual management festival, "Smriti Pravaha." Premier business schools across the city battled it out to grab a place for a podium finish.

At the end of it all, some won, and some lost, but the spirit of youthful competition prevailed. From the marketing event, "Blitzkrieg" to the human resource event "Born to Reign," the International Business event "Globe Trotting" to the information technology event "Use your mind" and the finance event, "Beat the Street," the fest found reasons to get peppy, zestful and fun.

Teams from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), Alliance Business Academy, Indian Business Academy, and M.P. Birla Institute of Management were all there to add muscle to the contests. Eventually, somebody had to be better than the rest, and that was the Indian Business Academy team, who beat the Alliance Business Academy. Uttara T.M. bagged the Best Manager's trophy. A rock show competition made sure the fest didn't need curtains to end.
