Mainly clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15.2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The recorded humidity was 33 per cent. The airport recorded a maximum temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius. The recorded humidity was 29 per cent. Forecast for Thursday: Mainly clear sky. Minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius.

Coaching for CET

The Social Welfare Department, through the Pre-Examination Training Centre, will conduct training programme for second year PUC Science students who are appearing for Common Entrance Test (CET), which will be held on May 12 and 13. The training will be given for one month from March 10 to April 9 free of cost for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes and minority community in biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, language, and aptitude.
