VIJAYAWADA, FEB. 12. A team of health care experts from different parts of the world visited the World Vision Centre for HIV and AIDS Afflicted Children in Tarakaramnagar here on Wednesday. The USAID representative, Linda Sussman, said that the team was travelling across the globe to make a study of the problems being faced by AIDS patients and suggest methods to overcome them. The Family Health International (FHI) Associate Director (India), Bitra George, and expert, Jonathan Brakarsh, interacted with children suffering from AIDS at a supplementary nutrition programme. Dr. Brakarsh entertained them with a magic and puppet show. An expert with the FHI, David Damara, World Vision activists -- Sadhu Babu, D. Adinarayana, and T. Ramesh Babu -- explained to the team the problems and the support that could be extend to AIDS patients.
