Federation to mobilise support

CHENNAI, FEB. 12. The Federation of Civic Welfare Association of the Pallavaram Municipality proposes to mobilise greater support to press implementation of many of its long-standing demands.

Completion of work of the Madras Institute of Technology overbridge, commencement of work for construction of underground drainage for Pallavaram and identification of a garbage dumping yard are among the issues to be highlighted, says a federation release. A demonstration will be held near the Chromepet Postoffice on Saturday.
