BELGAUM, FEB. 13. A Belgaum city corporator, Dilip Jadhav (45), died of burns on Friday. Jadhav is survived by his parents, wife, two daughters and a son. Jadhav suffered third degree burns following an explosion of LPG cylinder at his home on Mahadwar Road here on Thursday. Jadhav who woke up early in the morning wanted to prepare tea before going for walk. But when he switched on a lamp, there was an instant explosion resulting in a fire. Jadhav also suffered burns in the nose and throat as he had inhaled gas. He was rushed to KLE Hospital for treatment. A large number of his well-wishers, including the Mayor, Sambhaji Patil, attended the funeral today.
