Kinetic to consolidate in motorcycle segment
HYDERABAD: Considering 2003-04 as the year of entry and product development, Kinetic Engineering is looking at consolidating its hold in the motorcycle segment in 2004-05 with an ambitious targeted growth of anywhere from 25 per cent to 50 per cent, according to Vismaya Firodia, Vice-President, Marketing. Addressing a press conference after the launch of its latest offering Kinetic Laser, she said this was part of the company's strategy of moving closer to becoming a `complete two-wheeler brand', with the slogan `Kinetic for everyone'. It expects to end this year with sales of one lakh motorcycles and has targeted a band of 1.5-2 lakh sales next year in this segment alone.. — Our Special Correspondent
