By Luv Puri
JAMMU,
FEB. 13.
The Bahujan Samaj Party today expelled its lone legislator in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, who was sworn in Minister yesterday. The Vijaypur legislator, Manjit Singh, was sworn in Minister of State for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour and Employment.
The national secretary, BSP, Narinder Kashayab said: "The party was not taken into confidence when its legislator was taken into the Ministry. Our legislator, Manjit Singh, has violated party discipline. Therefore we have decided to expel him." However, Mr. Singh continued to hold meetings with senior BSP leaders requesting them to reconsider his expulsion.
