Case registered against NALCO chief

MUMBAI, FEB. 13. Police have registered a case against the Chairman and Managing Director of the Bhubaneswar-based National Aluminium Corporation (NALCO), C. Venkatramana, on charges of molesting a woman employee during his visit to the city last week.

Police on Thursday arrested the NALCO Regional Manager, Virender Singh, as a co-accused after the victim alleged that he was present in the hotel when the incident occurred.

The Inspector in-charge of Sahar police station, Sharad Marathe, said that Mr. Venkatramana had not been arrested as he was not in Mumbai.
