I am innocent, says actress

KOCHI, FEB. 13. Priyanka, television actress who was arrested by the police on charges of cheating and extortion on February 10, said here today that she was innocent and would come out with the details of the case soon.

Ms. Priyanka was arrested from Alappuzha for allegedly trying to blackmail the cine actress Kaveri.

Speaking to presspersons here today, Ms. Priyanka said she would not like to divulge more details now as the case was pending before court.
