JAMMU, FEB. 13. Five Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed when they tried to cross the Line of Control in Bhimber Gali sector of Jammu region. This was the second major infiltration bid of the terrorists since the ceasefire was announced on November 26 last. Briefing reporters, Brigadier K.V.S. Lalotra, the commanding officer said, "the night vision devices helped spot a group of terrorists. Instantly an operation was launched to hunt down the terrorists and in a 14-hour gun battle five terrorists were killed." Three bodies were retrieved while the remaining two were lying near the LoC, the officer said.
