MANAMA, FEB.13. The former Chechen President, Zelimkhan Yanderbiyev, accused of having links with the Al Qaeda and the Taliban, was killed in a car explosion in Doha today. He died in a hospital. Mr. Yanderbiyev was reportedly leaving a mosque after prayers in north Doha's Dasma area when the blast occurred. Russia had been seeking his extradition since June and the United Nations had added him to a list of people and organisations linked to the Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
