HYDERABAD, FEB. 13. The Andhra Pradesh Tribal Employees Federation (APTEF) has asked the Government to declare a general holiday on February 15, birth anniversary of Sevalal Maharaj, revered as a saint by eight crore tribals in the country. In a statement here, the Federation's secretary, Pandu G.Naik, said that the birth anniversary of Sant Sevalal Maharaj would be celebrated on February 15 at his birthplace, Sevagarh, Anantapur district. The federation also urged the Government to declare as optional holidays the other events relating to tribals falling on March 30, May 28, July 1, August 9, October 18 and in November.
