BELLARY, FEB. 13. A special drive launched by the Chief Engineer of Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company, Madhav Tonapi, has helped in recovering 750 transformers in Bellary, Koppal, and Raichur districts Some officials did not return the defunct transformers to the company after replacing them with new ones. The Chief Engineer, after conducting a study, instructed the section officers to return such transformers to the store within a month. Besides monitoring the process, he also made arrangements to shift the transformers. The value of the transformers recovered is Rs. one crore.
