KOCHI, FEB. 13. The General Insurance Employees' Union (south zone) has urged the public sector insurance companies to give more importance to customer services. N. D. Sundaresan, general secretary of the union, said that the managements should try to introduce policies that would meet the demands of the customers. He said that the policy conditions should be published in regional languages. Mr. Sundaresan said that the companies should initiate steps for speedy settlement of claims. The union said the expenditure would increase following the imposition of the service of brokers on public sector insurance companies.
