Clear sky forecast

Bangalore recorded a maximum temperature of 30.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15.1 degrees on Friday. The corresponding readings at the airport were 29.0 degrees Celsius and 13.3 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 26 per cent in the city and 25 per cent at the airport. A clear sky has been forecast for Saturday. The minimum temperature will be about 15 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorology Department.

School valedictory

Little Flower Public School organised a valedictory day function for outgoing 10th standard students of the school in Bangalore on Friday. Prizes were given to students who excelled in their studies and extracurricular activities. The toppers of 2002-2003 from the ICSE and SSLC streams, Shankar M. and Skanda Kumar, respectively, were presented trophies. The student of the year award for 2003-2004 for 10th standard students was presented to Rashmi P.R. (ICSE) and Prithvi P. (SSLC).

Fashion show by students

The students of Garden City College will present a fashion show featuring khadi fabrics at the Khadi Utsav-2004 at Fort High School Grounds on Saturday at 7 p.m.
