CHENNAI, FEB. 14. India and Tunisia signed on February 9 a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in information technology (IT) and telecommunications. The MoU, signed in New Delhi by S. Thirunavukkarasu, Union Minister of State for Communications and IT, and Montassar Quaili, Tunisian Minister of State for IT and Internet, envisages the setting up of a joint working committee to implement the scope for cooperation and exchange of information on certification rules and procedures, says a release from the India-Tunisia Friendship Association, Chennai.
