THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 14. The State Government has withdrawn the suspension orders served against seven police officials, including the Superintendent of Police, Asok Yadav, and the Dy.SP, P. Yogesh, in connection with the Killi incident. According to reliable sources, the officials would not be appointed to any sensitive posts and would be transferred out of the district. The decision to withdraw the suspension was taken on the basis of the representation submitted by the police officials individually and through their police association, including the IPS Officers' Association. The Police Department and the Law Department had perused their representation and recommended the conditional withdrawal of suspension orders.
