Dry weather CHENNAI, FEB. 14. Mainly dry weather prevailed over south Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over north Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

The minimum temperature fell at a few places over Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over south interior Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, the rest of north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka and above normal at one or two places over the rest of interior Karnataka, Telangana and were generally normal over ther rest of the region.

Arogyavaram recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over south coastal Tamil Nadu and southern parts of Lakshadweep and mainly dry weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, northern parts of Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until the morning of 16th February 2004): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over south coastal Tamil Nadu and mainly sunny weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
