NEW DELHI, FEB. 14. Junior women today added one more medal to India's kitty, winning the Air Pistol team bronze in the 10th Asian Shooting Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The team comprising Minverva Singh (370), Anuraj Singh (371), and Girija Desai (333) finished third behind Malaysia and Mongolia. Deepali Deshpande, who won an Olympic quota in Sports Rifle 3 postion earlier, stood a dismal 10th in the Sports Rifle Prone position on a day when only non-Olympic events took place, according to information received here. On Sunday, Indian marksmen will get one more chance to bag a quota place for the Athens Games when H.S. Bedi, Baba P.S. Bedi, Amardeep Singh Rai will compete in the Skeet event and Aarti Rao would be the lone Indian participant in the women's section. India has so far grabbed five Olympic berths here and won seven gold medals (including three in the juniors), two silver and two bronze.
