Police fire in air to quell mob at Kalam's meeting

MUNGER (BIHAR), FEB. 14. The police fired in the air to quell a mob, which clashed with it on being denied entry into the Polo Ground here where the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, was addressing young yoga disciples today.

Official sources said the police fired 11 rounds in the air when the mob tried to force its way through the eastern entrance of the ground, the venue of the President's programme, which is located in the Munger fort.
