MUMBAI, FEB. 14. Ten Left parties here today formed a third force in the State, the Left Democracy Front (Maharashtra), and decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections. They would not have any truck with either the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance or the Congress-NCP axis.The parties are the Peasants and Workers Party (PWP), the CPI(M), the CPI, the Janata Dal (S), the Samajwadi Party, the RPI-Bahujan Mahasangh, the Samajwadi Jan Parishad, the RPI (Kamble), the RPI (Khobragade) and the Kamgar Aghadi.N.D. Patil of the PWP, who presided over the meeting, is the convener of the Front. He said the Front would campaign against the anti-secular policies, globalisation, privatisation and liberalisation.
